1. They’re always there for you
Your pup is the most loyal companion and will always be by your side no matter what. You never have to worry about being ghosted, finding a date, wondering if they’ll text you back, or even like you. They love you, can’t stand being without you and look forward to seeing you. Show them just how much they mean to you with a special treat and remind them of all that unconditional love they shower upon you!
2. They always show you unconditional love
Even on our worst day, dogs are so full of affection and never judge you (well, maybe an occasional side eye). They give us their whole heart and in return, we owe them the same level of unconditional love. Make your pup feel extra-special with all the cuddles, treats and playtime they deserve! There’s nothing better than staying indoors and cuddling your pup with take-out and watching a movie together. They won’t complain about what you’re eating (they’ll most likely help you with the left-overs) and don’t require any special gifts. Plus, they won’t make a fuss if you watch a Rom-com, or a horror film.
4. Pajamas
Your dog has no interest in what you wear! You could get glammed up for the special day, or simply throw on your favorite t-shirt and sweats. No one to impress here.
5. They’re the best listeners
Sure, they may not be able to hold an entire conversation with you, BUT you know they’re genuinely interested in any and everything you have to say. Through their curious head tilts, bold eyes and adorable sounds you know never have to ask “are you even listening”.
6. They love any and all gifts
Don’t worry about spending countless hours coming up with a gift idea. Should you decide to give a gift, your dog is going to absolutely love whatever it is - even if it is only one kibble from your fingers.
